To be able to send you newsletter updates, Reach Out vzw needs your email address and country. To receive more personalized or targeted newsletters, you are free to add your name and business category.

Who has access to your data?
Only Reach Out crew members working in the fields of communication and technical support have access to your personal data. We do not disclose any personal data to third parties.

How is your data stored?
Your personal data is kept in the subscribers list of the MailerLite email marketing company.

How can you verify, modify or delete your data?
You can modify or delete your data at any time via the ‘update profile’ or ‘unsubscribe’ links underneath each newsletter.

How long do we keep your data?
After you unsubscribe from the newsletter, your personal data will be removed from the MailerLite subscribers list.

The personal data of donors will be used exclusively for the operation and goals of Reach Out vzw. Data will be treated in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation of 25 May 2018.

We collect the information you give to us via the various donation and support forms on the website. Your details are used to administer your donations, to contact you with information and updates you explicitly agree to in the donation forms, and for research and analysis.

We will not sell your information and guarantee not to disclose any of your personally identifiable information unless we have your explicit permission. We use industry-standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your personally identifiable information such as firewalls. In addition, we always use a secure connection when collecting personal financial information from you. All forms which request credit card or bank details use the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol for encryption.

Below general conditions apply to each online donation to Reach Out. By donating, the donor accepts the general conditions. Reach Out has the right to change the general conditions if new legal requirements impose a modification.

Beneficiary’s rights (Reach Out): The complete amount of the online donation is destined for Reach Out, which may freely use it for any expenses that are in line with its mission as expressed in the articles of association. The donated sum becomes property of Reach Out as soon as it arrives on its bank account.

Donor’s rights: During a period of 8 (working) days after the money transfer, the donor has the right to revoke his/her online donation via one of the web-based donation forms by sending an e-mail to

Reach Out’s duties: Reach Out will use donations in accordance with its articles of incorporation. Reach Out will take all technical and organisational measures to provide a secure web environment and to ensure the security of the personal data of donors, communications, electronic data transfers and online donations. All persons who deal with personal data of donors on behalf of Reach Out are bound by the obligation of confidentiality.

Donor’s duties: To institute a donation to Reach Out, the donor has to be 18 years of age or older. By the act of donating, the donor declares he/she complies with this age limit. When the donor is younger than 18, he/she must be accompanied by and have to permission of his/her parents or custodian. The identification data supplied by the donor need to be accurate. The donor exclusively donates money that is in his/her possession or under his/her control. If the donor fails to comply with these requirements, Reach Out is entitled to report this to the authorities.  If applicable, the donor must see to it that his partner agrees to the amount of the donation

Processing of personal data: Reach Out will process data supplied by the donor in strict compliance with legal privacy regulations. Reach Out processes personal data in the context of donorships and for the registration and processing of additional beneficiaries, for carrying out marketing activities and for complying with legal regulations. The donor has the right to have his/her personal data removed from marketing campaigns by using the opt-out button on every newsletter or by sending an email request to The donor has the right to check data registered by Reach Out as to their accuracy, to correct data that are wrong or to have data completely removed. In this regard, Reach Out is entitled to request the donor’s legitimation.

Final provisions: The disclaimer and privacy statement used by Reach Out  apply without restrictions. Only the court is qualified to deal with contentions between Reach Out  and external parties. The competent legal entity to deal with contentions is the court of Antwerp. Contentions refer to any any disputes regarded as such by one of the parties. The parties declare that Belgian law is applicable.
