I was given a very warm welcome by the Grijze Geuzen, a local branch of the Flemish Humanist Association, in Willebroek last Thursday. They had invited me to give a photo presentation about my cycle ride to the North Cape last year.
The room in Bel-Air Castle was packed. A few people who had also traveled in Norway, some as long ago as in the seventies, shared their experiences.
After the presentation I received a magnificent bouquet of flowers as well as a big cheque with a donation for the Bubaque (Guinee Bissau) student project.
Many thanks, Grijze Geuzen, in the first place on behalf of Cipriano, the student whose high school studies for teacher I am financing with my sponsored cycling expeditions.
